Measuring Impact: Live Engraving for Deloitte

Personalization is more than a finishing touch. Activations designed with clear KPIs in mind help measure success through brand visibility, social sharing, and guest connection. At a recent Deloitte activation in Milwaukee, these goals shaped both the design of the station and the guest experience.
Setting the Scene
The event took place at The Mecca Sports Bar & Grill, a lively venue in the heart of Milwaukee that served as a gathering place during the MESC 2025 conference. Guests arrived to the sound of a live band, the energy of a packed beer garden, and the hum of conversation. The setting created a backdrop where Deloitte could host networking, entertainment, and branded engagement all in one space.
Live Engraving

The personalization station featured branded stainless steel Koozies. This thoughtful choice allowed guests to enjoy their personalized item immediately while also providing a keepsake they could continue to use long after the event.
Attendees filled out forms with their live engraving requests, then watched as each personalization came to life. The anticipation of seeing names and messages etched on-site turned the station into a highlight of the evening.
Because we anticipated a steady flow of attendees, we staffed the activation with another skilled calligrapher and an assistant. This approach enabled us to focus on serving guests and fulfill every request. By the end of the night, nearly 300 personalized Koozies had been engraved.
Driving Engagement
To extend impact beyond the engraving table, we created Deloitte-branded signage that guided guests through the experience. The signs encouraged them to record their personalization and share it on social media using the event’s hashtags. Many attendees took photos and videos, which meant Deloitte’s branding and the guest experience reached far beyond the beer garden.
